I design workflows that make complex systems feel effortless

I'm a product designer with 5+ years of experience building elegant, workflow-driven applications across web and mobile. I started in medical devices, which taught me the value of clarity and precision—skills I now apply to AI-powered products, creative tools, and professional software. I'm drawn to problems where interaction design, visual craft, and deep user understanding converge.

Approach

I believe great product design starts with understanding the problem—not just what users need to do, but why it matters and what gets in their way. I design from first principles, grounding every decision in user research and interaction logic. I care deeply about craft: typography, spacing, interaction behavior, and visual hierarchy all shape how intuitive a product feels. I iterate relentlessly, thriving in critique and collaboration, and I don't ship until the design intent makes it all the way through to the final build.

Clarity Through Structure

I distill complex systems into clear hierarchies and progressive workflows. Every interface has a strong information architecture and interaction logic that guides users toward their goal.

Craft Matters

I sweat the details—typography, spacing, color, and interaction behavior all compound to create experiences that feel refined and intentional. Polish isn't decoration; it builds confidence.

Iterate in Community

I design in the open, presenting work regularly in critique with engineers, product, and leadership. I stay open to feedback while maintaining a strong point of view, shipping better work through collaboration.

User-Centered Problem Solving

I ground every design decision in user research and testing. Whether designing for medical devices or AI tools, I start by understanding the user's context, mental model, and constraints.

End-to-End Product Design

I own product design from early concept through shipped features, delivering fully realized experiences across desktop and mobile. I work closely with engineering and leadership to turn ideas into production-ready interfaces.

Workflow & Interaction Design

I design multi-step workflows and complex user interactions, balancing power with clarity. I use progressive disclosure, strong hierarchy, and thoughtful interaction patterns to make intricate systems feel approachable.

AI-Powered Experiences

I design user-facing AI features that translate complex system outputs into understandable, trustworthy interfaces. I emphasize transparency, user control, and clear feedback.

Design Systems & Visual Craft

I build and maintain scalable design systems and ensure every interface meets a high bar for typography, layout, spacing, and visual polish. Consistency and clarity drive my work.
